Support - Site Statistics

View Web Site Visitor Statistics

To view stats data relating to your web site visitors, you will need your account user name and password. If you do not have these, then please request them by raising a support ticket HERE or emailing support@pinkdylan.co.uk.

Once you have your account user name and password, log on to your Stats HERE.

NOTE: Your browser may warn you about an "invalid secure certificate". This is not a problem, and you need to instruct your browser to ignore/proceed (which it may say is not recommended).

You will then be requested to select the domain to view (select your prime domain if more than one displayed), the screen will look similar to the illustration below:

Click on the magnifying glass under the "view" column and you will be taken to your statistics.

The statistics are fairly extensive, but there are three main things to note. These are highlighted on the illustration below with pale yellow, and a number in red as follows:  (note, figures are fictitious and for illustration only)

1 - Here you set the Month/Year to view, figures displayed below will reflect this choice (defaults to current month/year)

2 - Here you see the total number of visitors to your site for each month within the selected year

3 - Here you see the number of visitors included in 2 above that are "unique" (total includes same people returning).

Note, it is the total number of visitors that is usually regarded as the most significant. Do not confuse "hits" with visitors!

The illustration below only shows the top part of the page - scroll down your Stats page for more details including daily figures for the currently selected month, details of how visits are spread over the hours of the day and more.

For most clients, the "Total Visitors" is by far and away the most important figure.
