Whilst most of our solutions include bespoke site design, with the cosmetic layout built from the ground up, e-commerce functionality is usually based on an existing software platform (sometimes with some bespoke additional modules). This is simply because a sophisticated and flexible system will meet the requirements of most clients, and will be substantially cheaper than writing every part of the database structure and programming functionality from scratch.

Occasionally, however,  clients have requirements that are simply outside the scope of generally available "off the shelf" functionality - even with bespoke modules added.

This is where cartBspoke comes in. We discuss your individual requirements with you in great detail, and usually require you to supply a formal specification.

We will visit potential clients (considering a cartBspoke site) within 50 miles of the centres of Worcester or Lancaster or within 25 miles of the M5/M6 route from Worcester up to Lancaster free of charge, and without obligation. This is extended to nationwide should you be interested in a particularly complicated application.

If you are looking for a relatively modest feature set, but are located outside of free consultation areas, it may still be possible to deal with everything by phone, post and email.

Fully Detailed Quotations.

We will always provide a fully detailed quotation in writing based on your individual specification. Our quotation will include a hosting option and we strongly advise clients considering a cartBspoke site to use our hosting facilities as we can guarantee that these will meet your requirements and we have root access to the server that may be necessary to install software or give your application the permissions it requires. If you wish to host on an alternative server then we need access to the server during the development period.
